Project: Hope 2010
What are your hopes for 2010? Share your ideas and visions for the new year with Pool. What will you resolve in 2010? What will you work on, how will you live and how will these choices affect your future?
This project was inspired by the ABC partnering with the 2010 Sydney Festival to present Hope 2010 (Crisis, Catharsis, Renewal). At the event, five public figures and two community members who had originally published their hopes on Pool, shared the stage as they looked (optimistically) at the year ahead. Check out the video of the event and podcasts of the speeches here. Feel free to use them as inspiration for your own hopes, and keep sharing! Help us cultivate a repository on Pool for our collective hopes, fears and dreams for the new year.
Contribute your poetic pontifications in whatever medium you like ... text, video, image or audio. Animate, sing, play, draw, write, dance your way to 2010! UPLOAD IN 3 EASY STEPS! 1. Join Pool 2. Join the Hope 2010 group 3. Upload your creation: a) Make sure your video or audio is in the correct format b) Hit the upload button c) Run through the steps making sure to group your work in 'Hope 2010' d) Make sure to tick 'public' tick-box else your work won't display.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: All standard Pool terms & conditions of use apply. In addition, all entries to Hope 2010 must: - be uploaded to the Hope 2010 group. By doing this you agree to licence the ABC the non-exclusive, non-commercial right to (i) broadcast your work on free-to-air radio through ABC Radio National (ii) communicate the work to the public online by the Pool website or any other part of the ABC website; and (iii) audio/video entries no longer than 3 minutes, and text entries no longer than 1000 words.
