Tales of Tinkering

Project: Tales of Tinkering

ABC Radio National’s Future Tense program is calling for text, audio, video and stills contributions which tell your tales of tinkering.

Is tinkering men in sheds with 3 wheeled washing-machines -or is it open source software? Can millions of online tinkerers save us from climate change? Is the digital age one big tinker? If you’re a bottom up or non linear thinker and not a store bought person, you most probably tinker.

Contributions can come in any genre - fiction, anecdote, documentary, current affairs, oral history, vox pops - or any other way that best suits your ideas.
The best audio/text contributions will be selected and played on the Future Tense program on ABC Radio National.

To get started listen here to futurist Alex Pang talking about what tinkering means to him. You can even tinker with Alex’s interview!

So share your ideas on Pool and let the community tinker them into shape!

Duration: Maximum length - 5 minutes (audio / video), or 500 words (text). If you post more we may ask if we can edit your work to fit into the broadcast.
