Hi Andrew, thanks for your message. I took the photo in September 2009 in the former East Berlin suburb of Kreuzberg( my hotel was just down the road). It was my first trip to Europe; I loved Germany and especially Berlin. This area of Berlin is a little run down, but I found it a vibrant and relaxed place.
