A bit about me…
Queensland Writers Centre connects writers with advice, training and professional opportunities. We promote Queensland books and authors throughout Australia.
We run the national Hachette manuscript development program, administer the Arts Queensland Poet-in-Residence program, faciltate creative writing courses in person and online, and produce the school-holiday Young Writers' Boot Camp.
From January 2010, we'll be located at the State Library of Queensland.

We're also the people behind if:book Australia. Based in Brisbane, if: book Australia is only the third centre of excellence of its kind for digital literature established in the world, after the New York and London Institutes.
The first project for if:book Australia will be a national seminar series delivered in 2010 called 'Writers and Digital Markets'. Supported.
Funded by the Literature Board of the Australia Council, the program will inform Australian writers about new opportunities to create and publish digital content.
